San Ricardo Well Rehabilitation
The San Ricardo Well Rehabilitation Project consisted of the construction of a new 30-ft diameter, 53,000 gal water tanks and a new 26-ft diameter, 43,000 gal water tank at the Goleta Water District’s San Ricardo Site. LaChaine and Associates provided the following services:
Geotechnical Report – LaChaine and Associates performed the geotechnical investigation and provided the geotechnical report that included liquefaction analysis, settlement and consolidation calculations, and foundation design recommendations for the two (2) new steel tanks.
Special Inspection – LaChaine and Associates provided special inspection for the over-excavation and recompaction of the underlying soils as well as for the reinforcing steel and concrete placement and concrete strength testing for the tank foundations.
