Polly comes to LaChaine and Associates with an accounting background and has years of experience as an office manager for small businesses. She has a Bachelors Degree in Accounting from the University of LaVerne and also holds Associate Degrees in Small Business Management and Clerical Science. We are excited to have her on board. Welcome to the team, Polly!
Congratulations to our own Andrew Grubb for passing the California PE licensing exam! Welcome to the next stage of your career!
On Friday, LaChaine team members Steve LaChaine, Andrew Grubb, and Andrew Fuller teamed up with Dan Van Beveren (City of SLO) to compete in the APWA’s “Scramble for Scholarships” golf tournament. They shot a combined net score of 60.6! They’ll spend the upcoming year honing their skills and hopefully bring home the trophy next year!
LaChaine and Associates was a corporate sponsor for a sixth year for the annual tournament that is held to raise money for the Central Coast Chapter’s scholarship program for college students interested in Public Works, Engineering, and/or Construction Management.
LaChaine and Associates, Inc. has received its Master Services Contract Agreement for on-call consulting from the Freeport-McMoRan Oil & Gas (Formerly Plains Exploration and Production (PXP)) office in Orcutt, CA. LAA has provided engineering services to multiple Freeport-McMoRan plants in the Santa Barbara County area since 2008 and is excited to continue providing quality services into the future.
Andrew Grubb has moved on from LaChaine and Associates to continue his career as a member of the City of Santa Barbara’s Transportation Division. We are grateful for his hard work and dedication over the last 3 years in helping LaChaine and Associates become the company that it is today. We wish him the best of luck as he continues on in his career.
